This book is just what i need for a trip to the maldives. Great quality book with beautiful clear photographs. The book is laid out in a manner that makes it easy to follow.
If you buy this you will not be disapointed, and the good thing is it's a handy size to pop in your handbag or divebag and is not to heavy.
Great compact informative publication.

Ideal companion for a trip to the Maldives

We bought this book just before our honeymoon in the Maldives last year. We knew that we'd be doing lots of snorkelling and probably some diving too, and we wanted to know more about what we were likely to see. This book proved invaluable. We used it every day to list the fish that we spotted (and there were literally dozens of different species). The pictures are clear and give a good representation, sometimes showing both genders and the adolescent members of the same species where there were marked differences.
It's not the most glossy of books to be frank and looks a tad amateurish compared to some others, but it served us really well and was exactly what it said on its cover. The book is also small enough to fit easily into your hand luggage so ideal for your trip.
