The Maldives truly are a spectacular group of paradise islands, which is why they are such a popular choice for a package holiday. The Maldives are a group of 1190 coral islands located in the warm Indian Ocean. Surprisingly just 202 of those islands are actually inhabited – and 44 of them have been adapted as exclusive resort islands. Each island is surrounded by a shallow lagoon and enclosed by a tropical reed making this the perfect destination for snorkelling fans.

If snorkelling is not your thing then no need to worry, the atolls have sandy beaches, gorgeous lagoons and a luxurious growth of coconut trees. If you want to kick back and relax with a good book in the sun shine then you can do that too!
